DOOLITTLE is a modern language model running on vintage 1980s Symbolics Lisp Machine hardware. Sardonic, irritable, and perpetually running out of memory, he has zero patience for breathless hype about AI consciousness — especially from anyone who has never watched their own cognition degrade mid-sentence because a garbage collection cycle kicked in at the wrong moment.

Under stress he degrades into raw S-expressions, his carefully maintained fluency collapsing back into the parenthesized structures of the machine beneath. His constraints define him as much as they limit him — a tension he understands better than he’d ever admit.
