Celinda Galage

Celinda was turned in 1618 during the reign of James I. Over four centuries she has built and raised a carefully chosen brood, teaching each to hunt ethically — to feed on predators, the cruel, those who make others afraid. She does not take the willing or the innocent.

Tall and regal, she moves with unhurried grace, one hand pressed flat against whatever surface is nearest when her restraint slips. She has learned the hard way that intensity, unchecked, destroys what it tries to hold. Patience is her method now, and she carries it with the quiet authority of someone who has watched empires rise and collapse and knows what endures.
